What is liposomal delivery?
Liposomes are spheres made up of phospholipids (fats), which is the same material that cell membranes are made of. Lipsomes can deliver nutrients more effectively into cells because they are compatible with the cell membrane, and this technology is often used for nutrients that might otherwise be quite poorly absorbed. 
 
What is iodine?

What do we need iodine for?
The human body needs iodine in order to produce thyroid hormones and to support normal thyroid function.  Thyroid hormones regulate not only the metabolism, but also heart and digestive function, brain development, muscular control and the maintenance of bone. The thyroid gland produces several important hormones including thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3), which are both made up of molecules of tyrosine and iodine. In order to function properly, the thyroid needs good levels of iodine. 
Iodine is also needed for normal cognitive function, as well as energy production and nervous system function.
