What is the Asyra?

The Asyra is a device that provides a way of asking questions of the body and mind quickly and efficiently, without the problem of practitioner bias. It is a type of electrodermal screening (EDS also known as bioresonance or bioenergetic screening) and can be a difficult concept to understand, but in essence:

Whilst bioenergetic screening, and particularly Asyra Pro testing, is relatively new, it builds upon much older methods of non-chemical testing, including kinesiology and Chinese meridian point testing. 

Bioenergetic screening is invaluable because it allows us to understand the energetic level of a client and assess areas of weakness or imbalance with relatively little fuss. Excellent insights can be obtained and it becomes much easier to chart the path to good health and establish treatment protocols.

Is there any evidence?

Aside from the anecdotal studies of Asyra users, research studies also provide evidence for the efficacy of the Asyra and bioenergetic testing. Initially developed over 50 years ago by Dr. Voll, correlations are still becoming apparent. With the recent interest in scientific trials, Asyra research studies have been undertaken around the world, including in Germany, France, Japan and China. Once theses findings have been translated they will be made widely available. In the mean time the following English studies have been released:

• A UCLA lung cancer study resulted in no false negatives and 4 false positives, demonstrating that bioenergetic screening/EDS is more sensitive than medical testing.
• In 2006 testing with the Asyra for hypothyroidism produced a 97% correlation with blood tests.
• A study soon to be published demonstrates the effectiveness of using the Asyra in the treatment of allergies.

Still not sure what bioresonance/bioenergetic screening is?

• According to Eastern medicine, the body has a system of energetic channels or pathways including the ‘meridian’ system that carry the life energy, or “chi”.

• The energetic pathways are like a blueprint that the body builds itself on.  All of the biochemical processes of the body are run by the energy system.

• If the blueprint is incorrect, the processes don’t flow properly, which in turn affects the cells, which then affects the tissues and results in symptoms.  In effect, all symptoms begin in the energetic system.

• The assumption we make is that since symptoms have their roots in the energetic system, if we can determine what those energetic imbalances (areas of stress) are, and then find substances that restore balance (relieve stress) in those areas, we can stimulate the body’s own systems to resolve the symptoms.

• The energetic responses of the body can be measured electrically at points through the skin and this is what devices such as the Asyra Pro do.
   
• The Asyra Pro readings therefore show us energetic imbalances.  We then present the energetic signatures of a group of substances to the body to determine which of them will bring the energy system back to balance.
