Pearl Maconaghie is a graduate of Queen's University Belfast where she obtained a BSc Hons in Biochemistry. She then went on to study Nutrition at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition in London under the guidance of Patrick Holford, where Pearl qualified as a Nutritional Therapist in 1989. Pearl is also fully trained on the Asyra AT3 system which is the most advanced development in the field of Bioenergetic Medicine. Paul Moore BSc(Hons) Podiatry(Podiatrist) |
Paul graduated from Queen Margaret College, Edinburgh in June 2003 with an Honours Degree in Podiatry. Since then he has worked in various podiatry positions within the Northern Ireland Health Service and from 2004 he has also built up a successful domiciliary - based practice. He now runs a Podiatry Clinic for Framar Health on Thursdays and Saturdays. Paul takes pride in providing a professional service in a comfortable and friendly environment where patients can be assured that they will receive the highest quality of care and treatment. Cathy started work with Framar Health after leaving school and developed a keen interest in complementary medicine. She has extensive background knowledge of Herbal and Homoeopathic remedies. She later qualified in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Sports Massage and just recently Indian Head Massage and treats many of Northern Ireland’s sports persons. She runs seminars regularly in schools, offices and workplaces including Queen’s University. She likes to develop her own skills and is now looking to further her professional development possibly in the field of Cranial Osteopathy. Worked as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at the Belfast City Hospital for 20+ years and established an Acupuncture Service there. Since studying at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) for three years, Jane has gained a wide range of experience in nutritional therapy. As well as her clinical experience as a nutrition consultant in Reading, Jane has worked in a nutrition laboratory, as a nutrition advisor for a highly reputable supplement company and was the sub-editor of The Nutrition Practitioner, a quarterly journal for nutritional consultants. She has written for a number of health publications, such as The Reader’s Digest and the GNC publication Live Well. |

Sinead Lynch graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Since leaving University Sinead has worked within the natural health care industry and now specialises in food sensitivity testing. Sinead believes that many people suffer symptoms for years, not realising that one or more of the foods that they are eating could be to blame. And it can often be a "favourite" food that is the main offender. |

Heather Lang is a GOsC registered osteopath, massage, myofascial and physical therapist, reiki master, acupuncturist and B.Sc. qualified ergonomic consultant with 17 years of experience in biomechanical analysis. From the gentlest craniosacral and reiki to deep tissue massage and joint mobilisation, she incorporates a wide range of techniques and therapies to ensure treatments are individually tailored to the needs of every patient. Because of this, Heather works with all ages from young children to the very elderly and treats all conditions such as works strain, sports injuries, headaches, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and ‘wear and tear’ pain. By understanding how the condition arose and what habitual, nutritional and movement changes would help improve wellbeing, the patient is empowered to control the condition, rather than the condition controlling them so fewer visits are required. In addition to a 4 year degree course in bioergonomics and a second 4 year degree in osteopathy and naturopathy, Heather underwent a traditional Reiki apprenticeship over 6 years and is charted 10th in a direct line of attunements from Dr Mikao Usui.When time permits, she is a keen surfer, motorcyclist, runner and martial artist and works with international level athletes in extreme sports. |

Payal qualified from the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy in London gaining a Bachelor of Science in Osteopathic Medicine and diplomas in Naturopathy and Osteopathy. Payal has continued her training and additionally utilises Acupuncture and Cranial Osteopathy. She has gained experience in Liverpool working in sports injury clinics and has also worked abroad in New Zealand. Payal has worked with Jan de Vries Healthcare for over two years and working closely with Jan de Vries in Troon has been very rewarding and a real privilege, as he has passed on his wealth of knowledge and experience from over 40 years of practice, thus helping Payal to treat patients. In everyday practice Payal treats everything from eczema to high blood pressure, and young babies to 18 stone professional rugby players!! |

Michael Tumelty BSc(Hons) Podiatry(Podiatrist) |
Michael graduated from University of Ulster in 2004 with a BSc Hons in Podiatric Medicine. Have worked extensively in both the NHS and private practice, he has successfully managed people from children through to the elderly. His main interest lies in musculo-skeletal podiatry, gait analysis and orthotic (insole) prescription, however he has also gained a reputation as being highly accomplished and experienced in general chiropody practice providing relief and comfort to thousands of patients so far in his short career.
Michael is a member of The Society of Chiropodist and Podiatrists and is registered with the Health Professionals Council. He adds, "Foot pain is not normal and can, for many, lead to a reduced quality of life.
